What Does Discomfort And Pressure On The Ribs Indicate ?

Hi, I am 27 years old female.I feel uncomfortable on left side under my ribs.It is not paining but just feels uncomfortable like pressure on my ribs.It has been there from last one month, it comes and goes away for couple of days.I have gas.Can some tell me what it could be.I repeat it is not paining but uncomfortableness.Evne gas is not there it still stays.Please let me know how to cure this. Thanks!

Hello. welcome to HCM.
heaviness under left side of ribcage could mean stomach or bowel related problems. It can even be minor or moderate splenic enlargement. Best approach will be to go in for USG scan and further investigations if needed, which will reveal the cause. In case spleen enlargement, you need to visit hematologist, who will search for cause. In case of bowel problems, you ned to visit gastroenterologist
