What Does Bubbly Nature Of Urine While Urination Indicate?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...expect that I may have excessive protein in my urine (proteinuria). When I urinate it is kind of bubbly. I have no other signs of kidney problems. Could this be a by product of eating a lot of meat, or is this a waste protein from the body. If I increase my water consumption will this help?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

* The bubbly urine is almost due to excess protein in the urine with loss of microalbumin particles in the urine.
* Kindly restrict excess nitrogenous products in the diet as meat, poultry items, fava beans etc.
* Should take once a urine microscopy examination in the lab for best evaluation needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
