What Does A Small Lump In Between The Eyes Indicate?

My 9 week old son has a small lump in between his eyes, on the bridge of his nose. It s more towards one eye. There is no redness or bruising. Just a small pea size lump that s hard when I touch it. It doesn t seem to bother him and I just noticed it 4 days ago so I am not sure how long it s been there. I m not sure if it s growing in size. When I touch it, it doesn t bother him either. What could it be?

Hello
It seems from the history that your 9 week old son is having a small lump in between the eyes o the bridge of the nose.
The most common cause of lump at this site in this age group is dermoid cyst.
Dermoid cyst will be usually slowly increasing size and usually not associated with redness or any other eye symptoms. The treatment of the condition is by surgical excision.

Hence I advice you to consult eye doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
