Hi,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.
Increased sestamibi uptake points towards adenoma. It is an Parathyroid adenoma which secretes parathormone. It leads to hormonal changes in your body. It is a benign lesion and should be removed surgically to protect you from side effects of excessive hormone. It is NOT a cancer and you should not be worried about it. It is a small operation and everything will become fine after that. Please be reassured that it is not a cancer.
Hope it sorts your problem and wishing you a speedy recovery.
