What Does ALP Of 122 As Shown In Liver Function Test Suggestive Of?
Hello, I received info on my blood test that I recently had. I am 18 years old, I turned 18 5 days ago and I m a healthy female. I m not underweight nor overweight. My liver function test said my ALP was 122, what does this mean? I m asking because it was bolded and had a symbol beside it.
Hello dear I understand your concern Normal reference range of ALP is: 38.0-126.0. So it is in the normal rage. It is significant when associated with increased bilirubin and AST level. It is significant when rise is 5-6 fold. Isolated increase in the ALT, without any fever, fatigue, nausea and without increase bilirubin has no significant. Just relax. Take healthy diet and drink plenty of waters & do regular exercise. Stay healthy Hope this may help you
