What Do You Suggest For A Mild Sore Throat With A History Of Diarrhea?

I m a 25 year old female weighing about 125 at 5ft 7in tall. 6 days ago I noticed one spot on my tongue felt irritated after having eaten some junk food... never thought anything about it until I noticed that there was a slightly red bald looking spot on my tongue. The bald spot has a few small bumps throughout the middle. The spot is not outlined by red or white. The surrounding area looks like my normal tongue. After that day, the area has not felt irritated. It isn t red anymore but still lacking most of the papillae in that area..... Of course, I jumped on google and the internet turned into my worst enemy. I do have a history of upset stomach and diarrhea here and there after eating food. This doesn t happen very often but it s very sporadic. My upset stomach feels better after passing gas or going to the restroom. About three weeks ago, my behind was pretty irritated after having a bout of diarrhea and then felt irritated for 3 days after that whenever I would have a bowel movement (which were a little more normal). Today, I now have a very very mild sore throat when I swallow...it is not painful enough to even take medicine. Like I said, I took to the internet (as I usually do with weird symptoms) and it has me extremely worried. I go on vacation this week so I am unable to get to the doctor for about 2 weeks. Please help!

HI . All the history and findings direct me to think about a treatment with an antibiotic with metronidazole for 5 to 7 days, as these are prescription medicines you have to see a Doctor. He would add supportive treatment as per his experience and likelihood. As you are going on for a vacation you must consult a Doctor before you leave.
