I've had this bump on my upper leg for a while. But the past few days is when it started to get big and give me a little pain.So tonight I got a needle and a rag and picked at it for a few seconds and puss came out.The pus was cold, and kind of sticky. The bump fells so hard like a baseball! Its not huge but its probbly the round size of a pin.Could you please tell me how to solve this problem???

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Seems to be a Sebaceous cyst which might have developed superimposed bacterial infection thereby leadng to pain.

If i was your treating doctor i would have advice you a week of oral antibiotics to resolve the infection.

Cyst needs to be removed in totality along with its wall in order to prevent it from regrowing. Thus requires a surgeons intervention.

take care
regards
