What Could Continual Stomach Pain With Cold And Fatigue Indicate?

my seven year old daughter has been complaining off and on of a stomache ache for the last few weeks. It improves with food. She also has some mild cold like symtoms, runny nose congestion, seems tired. last night, she has developed a cheek stain and it has persisted today. no fever. what is the best way to fix this?

Well, let us not try to "fix" anything! She is a human, not a leaky fawcet. Having said that, it appears that she has a virus that has affected her chest/respiratory system as well as her skin, and the gut. You should keep treating her symptomatically. Give her paracetamol for fever, benadryl for cold, plenty of fluids including hot chicken soup, and a light diet - as much as she wants. Allow her to decide her activity level. Neither force her to move nor to sleep. Encourage her to play and do interesting things to avoid getting her from being bored and tired.
