What Could Cause Sharp Pain In Ovaries And Delayed Periods? I Regularly Have Birth Control Pills
The week before my period I have a very sharp pain in my left ovary for 3 days which I've never had that kind of pain before. Period is 9 days overdue and I've tested and all negative. I am on birth control and take it regularly so I know when my period are going to happen. But this is different. I've been pregnant before and no breast tenderness or nausea just frequent urination which I drink a lot so maybe that's it.

This is probably due to hormonal imbalance due to increased progesterone.
The ovulation was possibly delayed. Hence progesterone in blood.
There is nothing to worry. Wait for a week and will be fine.
