What Could Cause Persistent Nausea With Stomach Bleaching?

Hi I have persistent nausea, which is sometimes made worse after eating. There is also sometimes pain, also in the stomach region, though that isn t as consistent. There s also more belching than usual. I ve had this for 2 mos now. I was tested for h. pylori and parasites, and had a CBC done. Everything came back as normal. I was diagnosed w/an ulcer before, so was surprised about the negative test. I have no other symptoms. Any idea what this might be?

hello,
1) what was the location of ulcer?
2) upper abdominal pain after eating + previous history of treatment for acidity suggest possibility of gastric ulcer.
3) gastric ulcer can be due to either H.Pylori infection or due to severe irritation of inner layer of stomach due to food or other substance
3) gastric ulcer due to severe irritation (gastritis) cause decrease production of acid in stomach and this lead to indigestion which would produce bloating.
4) you should continue quick-acting antacid medication along with proton-pump inhibitors (to reduce acid production) for healing of gastric ulcer. In presence of severe bloating, you might need digestive enzymes supplementation also.
4) It is recommended to undergo follow up upper GI endoscopy after 3-4 weeks to evaluate status of gastric ulcer.
