What Could Cause Pain And Little Bleeding After Having Sex?

Hi I'm a 17 year-old girl. I had sex with my boyfriend and I sat on his penis and the penetration hurts. Thinking it was just because the pathway in was not right, we continued. After having sex, there was a spotter of blood (very little) on my panties and when it was painful when I urinated (just when I was about to finish peeing). That night, the frequency of my urination has increased and most of the time, it was almost always only a small amount of pee. Next morning, I drank lots of water and when I urinate more liquid, it didn't hurt that much but there was still pain. It's been 2.5 days and it still hurts when I pee. I spot some blood (very faint) in my pee. Sometimes (I think 3 times?), there's a white discharge from my vagina. Feb. 9-16 was my last menstruation and we had sex on Feb. 19. He has been my first and only partner and so am I to him. We both do not have any history of STD's. This is the 5th time we had sex and it only occured now. I think I didn't break my hymen in the past because there wasn't blood in our first sexes. Is this because of rupture of the hymen or some infection?

Hi ! Good eveining. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

From your history, it seems that you have got a urinary tract infection which is causing the discomfort while passing urine. If I were your doctor, I would advise you for a urine routine/microscopic test and manage according to the report of the investigation. Also I would not hesitate to advise you to go for a serum HCG test and an ultrasound of pelvis to rule out any chances of a missed diagnosis of pregnancy. Further management would depend on all the investigation reports.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
