What Could Cause A Lower Abdominal Pain And Related Pain During Intercourse?

I am a 38 female and a mother for 2 boys 4 yrs and 2 yrs I have pain in lower abdomen going down twards the vagina and I feel a bad pain while intercors I have an ovarian syst and my urin analysis and culture shows pus cells 2-4 and a few epithelial cells, what does this mean and is it serious or not?

Dear member,
Thanks for writing.
Pain during intercourse and ovarian cyst may be indicating endometriosis. Sometimes pelvic infection also causes similar symptoms.
Your urine analysis looks normal.
I would suggest a pelvic exam and a course of antibiotics for 2 weeks.
If the cyst persists consider treatment of the cyst.
