General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,

Typhoid fever is caused by bacteria called Salmonella typhi & Salmonella paratyphi.
Widal test is a test for antibodies against 'O' antigen and 'H' antigen of the typhoid bacteria.
A titer of 1:100 or more for 'O' antigen and 1:200 or more for 'H' antigen is considered as positive test for typhoid.

So, as per your blood investigation reports you are having Typhoid due to infection by Salmonella typhi.

You need to take a course of antibiotics along with symptomatic treatment for fever.
I usually prescribe my patients Cefixime 200 mg twice a day along with Paracetamol 500 mg thrice a day.
So, kindly consult your Doctor & start treatment immediately to avoid any complications.

There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
