What Could Be The Reason For A Bloated Or Swollen Stomach After A Pap Smear?
Bloated/swollen Stomach after Pap smear? I ve had my pap smear 4 month ago. The day after my stomach got bloated/swollen and i started bleeding that lasted for about a week. I ve also had gas associated with it. Called my doctor and had a vaginal ultrasound which revealed a small cyst on my left ovary. about 2 month after that i had a endometrio biopsy done which came out clear. My stomach is still swollen, gas subsided. My Obgyn thinks it s related with intestinal issues. I am 47 and have always had a flat stomach, it worries me that this happened the day after my pap, it is very uncomfortable. I also have not had a period since that day. I just had a blood test done but do not have results yet. Checking Thyroid and Estrogen levels. Don t know what else to do.
