What Could Be Reason For Putting On Weight?

I don't understand why I am putting on weight. I'm 20 years old, very active, do lots of exercise and calorie control my diet. I have recently started drinking rice milk as am allergic to dairy and have found there is a high percentage of carbohydrate content in it. Help!

Hi,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

As you have mentioned that you are physically very active and you have diet control also, but still you are gaining weight.

I will suggest you to modify your diet which is rich in fibres & fluids.
Do not consume any processed food, oily food, and fast foods. You can visit a dietician / nutrition expert near by you to make a diet schedule fit for you.

I will also suggest you to get your thyroid function tests done to rule out any issue with your thyroid.

If anything else you want to know i will be happy to answer you.

Thanks & Regards
Dr. Shiv
