Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be the bacterial infection of the nail bed. There may be the development of abscess...that is why the pus oozes after pressing the nail. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend a heavy antibiotic like cefixime and antiinflammatory drugs.

Hope this helps.
