General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

After ovulation, the hormonal pattern in menstrual cycle changes making the cervical mucus thicker and dries up later. But in few ladies, cervical mucus continues to be secreted this most of the times marks conception.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
