What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Having Sex During Menopause?
I am over 60, have been thru menopause over 8 yrs ago. I have begun to have a sexual relationship again and had a little spotting after having sex for the first time in many years. I was a little sore but all went away and the spotting stopped about one hour later. Should I be very concerned now?

post menopausal bleeding or spotting after sex can ce due to various reasons - benign polyps, endometrial thinning, cancerous conditions.
i suggest consult your gynaecologist for a detailed examination and PAPA smear. your doctor shall advise you for follow up and treatment.nothing to be worried but a visit to the gynaecologist is essential.
