What Causes Uterus Pain After Having Treatment For Herpes Zoster Virus?

Hi! I was recently treated for herpes zoster virus. It appeard on the lower waist towards the womb,so it was swollen and very very painful.right now I m experiencin a severe pain on my uterus I cnt walk properly due to pain and I cnt perform my daily duties well coz I want to rest most of the time.I m not sure whether its my uterus or something else and also the affected area is stil numb bt I can stil feel the pain.I did pap smear last year August.(On behalf of my wife).

Following is the advice for your wife.
1) First of all do not panic.
2) Herpes virus infection is know to take time to recover, and it causes pain even after the active problem has disappeared.
3)Usually the pain is along the nerve pathway.
If your PAP smear report is normal, do not worry and relate the infection or pain to uterus.
4) Please start taking good quality multi vitamin and multi mineral supplements on daily basis for at least next 3 months.
Opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regime.
This will help to improve your immunity.
