What Causes The Non Blinking Of Eyes And Minor Pupil Contraction?
My father is in coma. Doctors are not giving much hope. He went into this state because of cardiac failure. How do I proceed ? Fathers age is 84. He has been diabetic and hypertensive. His eye lids are not blinking and minor pupil contraction. Dolls eye test does not produce any result.

In such cases nursing care is most important. expo user keratis is one of the problem. either artificial tear drop should be applied every 3hours. if not manageable eye lashes can be stitched. all other precaution like prevention of bed sore oral hygiene and bowel mov ment is to be taken care of. for urination catheter canbeused. Nutrition is to be maintained. with proper hydration
