Hi there! Thank you for taking time in answering my question. I had a gastric bypass 5 years ago which had to be reversed as I had extreme deficiencies resulting in night blindness, etc. Last year July I had my operation reversed but still my stomach was made smaller only the intestine was lengthened. Since then I ve gained 10kg. I now weigh 68kg, my length is 1.68m. My problem is that I m extremely hungry all the time. I try to stick to a 6000 kilojoule diet and work out in the gym burning about 2000 kilojoules (according to my heart monitor) but I m really getting worried about the fact that right after eating I m still hungry. This happens for instance after having a piece of low gi toast with a poached egg. I ve tried drinking water as I thought it might be thirst but it just doesn t go away. As I m typing this my stomach is growling again! I m so scared that I ll end up weighing 100kg again, that I m barely sleeping at night. Is this all in the mind? I ve tried taking Duromine 30mg but still I m hungry and the side effects were so bad I only took the capsules for 2 days. Any ideas?
