What Causes Termination In Menstruation?

hi, i am 23 years old, height 5feet 4inch,weight 67kg.my marriage was on june 2011. usually i have my periods after 26 days.after my marriage we consult a doctor for birth control measure and she prescribed ovral-l and ask to take it on the third of mensus. i had start taking the pill from june 21. after taking 21 tablets i have my next period on july13. since on my third day of periods i didnt get 7 day gap so i didnt take ovral-l for that month. my period end in july 19 and i used to have small blood stains from july 21 and it continues for 5 or 6 days. in that month we use condoms.after that i didnt have my periods and i am worrying about pregnancy. i had cramping as if my period was to come yesterday, but nothing happen. its my 29th after my last period. should i take pregnancy test?

Hi,
With the symptom description you have given, there can be two possibilities. Either you have conceived or you are experiencing hormonal imbalance due to pill use. Stress is another factor that can add to the situation. You may not get to read a HPT well at this stage. Therefore, you should go for an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres, which can simultaneously confirm/exclude pregnancy and ovulation. Please see a specialist for further help. Take care.
