What Causes Swollen Toes?

hi,I am a male,46yrs old,ht-5-7 ,wt.70kg.I had develop big toe {lt.}swelling last afternoon.Ihad similiar complaints two months back.at that time ,my uric acid level was 8.6.with the advice of my doctor{ortho}I had control my diet&taken tab zyloric&tab ebuxo-80 MG. now it has re occur again what should i do?with the advice of same doctor,same medicine i am continuing.please advice.
