Diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis in most of my spine, much worse in the cervical area. Car accident had injured this area pretty bad in November of last year. Now noticing veins popping out in my hands and becoming very painful. This morning I woke with a swollen vein, marble sized in my foot and painful to touch, did rub out over the course of the day. What is happening?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Respected Sir, hi sorry to hear about your issue. Regarding effects of spinal stenosis it`s going to give rise to neurological issues like tingling, numbness etc. in hands , legs but so far as popping veins which is painful as per your narration is a different entity. temporarily can take analgesics mor and eve after meals till you take appointment to meet your Consultant Surgeon because this requires your thorough clinical examination, evaluation, arriving at proper diagnosis if needed with additional diagnostic tools.Hope this clears your query dear thanks regards. Bye take care , wishing you a fast and speedy recovery .
