OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

Depo shots can cause irregularities in menstrual cycle along with oligomenorrhea (less periods). I would suggest you to have a course of iron folic acid tablet for 30 days and have a thyroid profile test done and also a blood prolactin test done as there can be associated hormonal irregularities, usually your periods will become regular by next cycle.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
