What Causes Light Reddish Orange Discharge During Periods?

I m on the Depo shot and my shot is due, but I haven t gotten it yet. Now I m having light reddish orange discharge. I ve been scared that I m pregnant but the test I took came out negative. I have also been takin weight loss pills, zantrex 3, and wondered if that has anything to with it.

Hi,

If you have not taken depo shot in time, the bleeding you have might be withdrawal symptom. Weight loss pull is not likely to cause such effect. Return of fertility after depo shot takes 4-6 months minimum so there is least chance of conception. Still you have to confirm it by home pregnancy test of urine (collected carefully without any contamination of blood or other vaginal discharges). This is to be done after 8 days delay in date of period.
