What Causes Spotting After Hysterectomy?

I am a 45 year old woman who had a hysterectomy three months ago because of a large fibroid. My pathology came back completely normal. I kept my ovaries and last month I began staining for three or four days I went to my doctor who did an exam and found everything to be healthy. I have begun staining again, could it be low estrogen levels

Hi,
If there is no vault pathology, if the vaginal swabs are clear, you should look for the possibility of a traumatic intercourse, if any, and also the possibility of thinned epithelial linings secondary to low hormone levels. The hormone levels do not err if the ovaries are functioning normally. The fact that there is no uterus to bleed does not affect the ovulation cycles. Please do not strain excessively. Also, you can get coagulation profiles done and look for any general infections. Hope this helps.
