What Causes Sore Throat, Swollen Gums, Swollen Lymph Nodes And Fever?

Hi, I have had a sore throat, swollen gums, swollen lymph nodes, chills, body aches and fever since for 5 days now. My gums are the worst part followed by the sore throat. What do I have? The fever seems to have broken on day 5 and my fatigue is lifting. Thank you....

Your symptoms as sore throat, swollen gums, swollen lymph nodes and fever indicates that you have severe infection in oral cavity and throat. This may be vral / bacterial that may be confirm by culture and sensitivity of saliva or throat swab.

Since you have swollen lymph nodes that is an imprtant sign and it demands thorough examination by your physician in the line of glandular fever.

Till you are wating for your physician you may take-

1- Tab Paracetamol.

2- Antiseptic mouth wash and gargling.

3- Adequate fluid orally.
