I have had a sore throat for about a month or a little more. It doesn't really hurt to swallow. I feel like I have to clear my throat often though, and I have been to the doctor and he gave me an antibiotic to fight bacteria, and it didn't work. I went back and he gave me a decongestion and nasal spray which aren't working as of right now either. I'm worried I have throat cancer, but I'm only 20. I do drink socially and rarely smoke. I've tested negative for both strep and mono. What could it be?
