It started out about 3 weeks ago with a sore inside my right nostril. That seems to have healed, but now I have a very tender, sore and red spot where my nostrils meet (on the outside of my nose) and it is so sore at the inside bottom of my right nostril. Could this be a fungal infection?
The symptoms seem to be related to a foruncle which is an infection of the hair follicle. I suggest using Neosporin cream for local application at the sore area. I also suggest using Tylenol in case of pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
