What Causes Skin Outgrowth Developed On Left Areola?
I had a skin outgrowth develop on my left areola almost a year ago. It initially seemed to increase in size and then it stopped. I haven t noticed any changes since that time, but now its causing me some pain where before I never felt an pain from it. should i be worried?

Hello,
Due to factors such as genetics, obesity and friction; skin outgrowths are common when folds of skin rub together. However, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP or a gynecologist to detect if it is Paget's disease of the nipple. Get all blood tests, urinalysis, investigations / imaging tests and biopsy done to detect the pathology causing discomfort. You can take acetaminophen, one SOS when needed. Get treated at the earliest.
