i have a pimple on areola. while breastfeeding, my baby popped it and white puss came out. it was very painful. i went to see urgent care dr and he said I had and infection, prescribed antibiotic and told me not to feed baby from that breast. 3 days later, I still have pimple. Since I don t feed baby, I have to pump. The breast shield from pump squashes pimple and makes it very painful every time. I am wondering if it is just better and less painful to feed baby from that breast instead of pumping.
