What Causes Skin Infection Behind The Ears?

My daughter s ear behind it in the crease looks wet and raw, I try to dry it off but cant seem to get it dry. Its like a sticky gunk on it.. I wash it off really good during bath time and by morning it has a crust on it. I don t know what to treat it with, someone told me its a form of a yeast infection. Someone else told me its eczema. What do you think?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Usually the infection may be bacterial.
Atrial with antibiotic and local antiseptic cream will give relief.
Atrial with local clotrimazole will exclude fungal infection.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
