What Causes Shortness Of Breath?

Unlike most people I turn pale after exercise, even in the heat. My All my blood counts are ok, I dont feel dizzy, though more recently I have been lagging in energy levels after about 40 minutes of exersize. Also finding myself more short of breath. Had childhood asthma but no major issues until now, though Shortness of breath doesn t feel like my asthma did, and no wheeze. Any ideas why?

Hi, if u had childhood asthma and at present shortness of breath on heavy exercises, then there is possibility of tracheobronchial hyper responsiveness ,.due to exertion which leads to increased tissue oxygen demand and then increase of respiratory rate for a while.if it comes down to normal after taking rest for about 5- 10 minutes then there is no need of treatment, if not then u need to see pulmonologist
