What Causes Sharp Pain In Upper Butt Cheek During Pregnancy?
I am 30 weeks pregnant, baby is measuring 33 weeks now. The last couple weeks I have had a sharp pain in my upper left buttcheek, thought it was sciatica, because I have had that before, but it seems to be worse when I pick my leg up to take a step or bend over. There is no pain in my leg which makes me think now it is not my sciatic nerve. I am 28, 245 lbs, 5 8 .

Hi, sharp pain in that area can be due to compression of some nerve due to pressure exerted by growing foetus. Do light pelvic exercise recommended in pregnancy. Try some local ointment or gel like volini.
