What Causes Severe Itching In The Groin Area?

Hi I have deep itching in the creases of where my thighs meet the vaginal area. Also in the crease where I had my c-sec.18 years ago. Sometimes the itching is on the back of my upper thighs where the bottox meets the thigh. I had vaginal, rectal, cervical meshs placed. This itching seemed to start while I was on the beach at virginia beach in july this summer. I can never seem to reach the itch as it feels like it is inches deep under my skin.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns Itching in the vaginal area and groin can be due to fungal infection called tinea cruris. It causes severe itching and discomfort. It needs to properly examined and treated with antifungals treatment.
I would suggest you to consult a dermatologist to get examined properly and treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
