General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello there
I understand your concern

The phenomenon appears metabolic , caused by electrolyte disturbance or truly neurological . a physical examination will be helpful
There is a possibility that he may be slipping into pulmonary oedema on account of his 4 surgery status.

Please consult his CTVS doc and plan his treatment

Hope that helps
