What Causes Seizures While On Epilepsy Treatment?

my son just had a seizure-he has epilepsy and has been using sweat block-contains aluminum. he takes medication which controls his seizures pretty well.could this have been just a break through seizure or the 15% aluminum that is in the sweat block wipes thank you, karen jackson

I would like to know his actual therapy. I am not really sure if the spray will interact with his antiepilepsy drug, as it is used in a small amount in a limited small region of the body. So, it is not absorbed in great quantity.
I would recommend performing antiepileptic drug plasma levels (if your son is taking valproate, carbamazepine or phenytoine) and performing some other blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate, blood electrolytes) to investigate for possible underlying causes.
