What Causes Recurring Itchy Warts Between The Breasts?
I have about 8 very small warts growing between my breasts...from sweating, I guess. A doctor burned them off a couple of years ago, but they came back. They are very itchy and I applied wart medicine and patches. They are even more itchy so I took the patches off. I m worried they might be spreading from my clothes rubbing on them. And I am concerned about drying them with a towel...that it might be spreading them to my hands or other places the towel touches. Kind of scaring me.
Hi. As per your case history of warts, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Maintain good hygiene and keep your belongings separate to avoid spread of infection to other family members. 3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream once in morning. Apply a tretinoin 0.025 % cream once at night on warts. 4. Other treatment options are oral levamisole, topical fluorouracil, cauterization, laser ablation done by a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
