It you have tortuous veins over your legs they are called vericose veins and they are very common inpregnancy. They are a result of hormonal changes in pregnancy.they are asually aasymptomatic but can cause leg cramps darkening of skin or in srvere cases ulcer or wound. Avoid prolonged standing. Use stockings till your thigh length for a whole day. Sleep with your legs at higher level than rest of the body.Avoid injury at any cost or they bleed badly. For the wound seek a help of surgeon for dressing so it heals fast.
