I m female 30yrs old 110lbs and 5 1 I have been a type one diabetic since I was 9yrs old I have had high chelestrol since I was 18yrs old I have all the signs and symptoms of diabetic neropathy I m a nervous mess from this how do I get the proper diagnoses I m seeing my diabeti spealisy on the 16th of may and I have an appt with a nerve dr on the first of june! I m in constent pain with my hands and legs and feet plus swallon and numbness what do I do????

first you have not mentioned about your recent blood sugar levels. all your symptoms are related to diabetic neuropathy. if i were your consultant i would recommend pregabalin and for your pain Gabapentin and sodium valproate should also be considered for diabetic neuropathy pain management though there are variety of medications for it .you must have to take this drug along with your diabetic medications to overcome from this problem as this drug has to be got with the prescription of a doctor .strict maintenance of your blood sugar levels along with drugs may solve your problem hope i have answered your question
