What Causes Persistent Fever And Loose Stools In A Child?

My daughter age 4 years, suffering from fever from 26 May 2010. Doctor applied amoxicyline 200 mg - 5 ml twice daily. After one day fever recovered. On 29 May again fever started with loose motion. Doctor applied Metronidazole & Norfloxacin combination 200 mg - 5 ml twice daily. This medicine continuing for two days, loose motion stopped. Till now every 6-8 hours fever appearing. Please suggest.
