What Causes Pain While Urinating After Having Medical Abortion?
I had a medical abortion 5 days ago (3rd july) I was 3 months pregnant when I had the termination. The bleeding up until now has been heavy as expected but the clots were very small but today I felt something unusual and had to push/pull out a blood clot the size of a large strawberry! It looked like liver on a smaller scale the colours were dark and purple, And now it hurts to urinate even just sitting down almost feels like I have cystitis! Any advice would be much appreciated as I'm quite worried, thanks.

Understand your concern
pain while urinating suggests vaginal or lower urinary tract infections. Passing of blood clots is normal after using pill as it is abortion product due to uterine contraction. I would like suggest to consult the gynecologist and done he following tests: urine test: routine, microscopic and cell culture, vaginal swab test, vaginal microscopy and cell culture for vaginal infections and USG.
Take following advice: proper rest, antibiotics: septran, cefixime for 7 days, tablet meftal sapas, , drink plenty of fluids, maintain pelvic hygiene, wash pelvic area with warm salted water, eat fruits like papaya, orange and cranberry.
Follow up USG after 14 days for abortion process completeness and retain product should be done
