What Causes Pain In Knee Joints And Thighs ?

hi sirs/madams, i have posted questions earlier also and the answers have been of great help to me. Present I am concerned about my mother who is about 56 years old. She is suffering from pain in both knee joints , both thighs, and in waist also sometimes since the last 5-6 years. There is no such history in my maternal side. The pain is associated with burning sensation and as if the blood is running in the thighs. She does not have sugar, uric acid etc. The haemoglobin level is normal. She normally has a high blood pressure which goes up to 160/100 sometimes. she is on permanent medication for blood pressure for the last 2 years (losar 25 increased to 50 mg at present). I have taken her to several reputed doctors and hospitals which include some prominent hospitals in kolkata and pune. However, nobody has been of much help as she continues to have the same level of pain. She has a height of about 5.2 inch and weight of 80 Kgs. Some doctors have asked her to reduce weight but practically, given her age, this is not an easy solution. Please offer some pragmatic and permanent solution.

hey,
Osteoarthritis
rheumatoid arthritis
reduced calcium levels in blood etc may cause pain in knee joint and may radiate to thigh or leg, presently you need to consult a orthopedics specialist who after proper investigation will be able to tell you a exact diagnosis for pain.now you can tell your mother to take tab-calcium gluconate once daily.
thanks
