What Causes Pain In Hip Muscles And Groin After An IUD Insertion?
I had an IUD put in and now I have a constant ache in my hip flexor, groin and hip (IT band) muscles. I have had the IUD in for almost 5 weeks. Do I need to see or doctor or should I just keep doing my stretches that have been advised from my physiotherapist?

Continue physiotherapy as scheduled. If the pain worsens or you develop other concerning symptoms like fever, follow up with your doctor to rule out infection/misplaced IUD.
