What Causes Pain And Double Vision?

I am experiencing a dull-like pain in both eyes...more severe on the right. I have had double vision for a long time and my peripheral vision appears to be compromised as I have noticed my eyelids (ptosis) are resting on my eyelashes. I m due for an eye exam with an ophthalmologist

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having double vision with decrease in peripheral vision and drooping of the eyelids.
All these symptoms indicate ophthalmoplegia because of involvement of the nerves which supply the eye muscles.
Hence this requires evaluation to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
