What Causes Mild Cramps After Taking Misoprostol To Abort Pregnancy?

I am 23 and went to the doctor where they gave me misoprostol...there was no heartbeat in the fetus and they said this would be an easy way to pass everything. I took 800mcg of misoprostol and had only mild cramps. then took 400 mcg of misoprostol...still nothing happening...

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Misoprostol is quite effective in expulsion of missed abortion, as in your case. The process of expulsion after intake Of mismisoprostol starts with painful cramps in the lower abdomen followed by bleeding and expulsion of products of conception from the uterus.
I would suggest you to wait for the bleeding, which may start in next 1-2 hours as you are experiencing cramps, suggesting that the process of abortion has started.
