What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Diarrhea?
My daughter is experiencing pain in her left lower abdomen that comes and goes, more sharp pains when walking or moving around and just a little sore on the right side. low grade fever, no appetite and some diaherria and her period ended last weekend. What could this possibly be?

Hi,
I think that she might be suffering from gastritis and there may be a associated colitis also. I would suggest a course of antibiotics metronidazole 600 mg for 10 days with pantoprazole 40 for 10 days, and bifilac capsules for 5 day. Also, antispasmodic drotaverine tablets will be required for pain in abdomen.
