What Causes Loose Bowels With Stomach Pain After Going Through Laparoscopy?

Hi Ive had Laparoscopy surgery in august to remove adheasions from small bowel and fatty substance removed from crevisiouses.A few black tarry stools.Went away but been having very loose ones the last week with a cloudy color with some stomach pains in area of small bowel..Should i go back to surgeon

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Laparoscopic surgery for small bowel adhesion can be a tedious surgery and since this can cause recurrence of adhesions, it is probably the problem with the small bowel that you are having or can be due to some other problem considering the black tarry stool and now loose ones, cloudy colored and stomach pains.
I would advise you to consult a Gastroenterologist as you need to undergo Upper GI Endoscopy, colonoscopy and other tests to find out the cause of bleeding that causes black tarry stools.
CT scan of the abdomen also helps to find out any obstruction that has recurred or not and any other mass that can cause the problems.
Tests of stool, blood and urine.
Get the treatment as per the findings.
Be on liquid diet till the symptoms are abated and/or the investigations are completed.
