Hi, about a week ago I noticed blister-like spots inside my urethra, just before the opening. A couple of month ago I had an itchy feeling in the urethra but it went away after a month or so. I was very much into masturbation and the itching had to do with that. I after noticing the the whitish spots inside my urethra, I went to a doctor and he said I have genital herpes. He prescribed me Zelitrex 500MG tablets for ten days. I have now used them for 8 days but cannot see any change in the appearance of these spots. I have never felt any pain in this area even before seeing a doctor. Do you think I have herpes as the doctor said, or could it be something else other than herpes, the fact that it is not responding to the treatment? I have not been drinking enough water for the 8 years and at some stage doctor advised me to taking more water after testing my urine sample. Do you think this could have a relationship to this symptoms?
